Once upon a time, a colleague called the way I taught children to read ‘subversive’.

Since then, I’ve been able to get more children reading. Then I changed schools, got pregnant and went on maternity leave.

Now I’m introducing my own child to the wonders of reading. Through books and libraries and story telling and following his interests where they take us. . .

So I’m here to blog about that. And him. And the great adventure that is motherhood . . .
